ABOUT
YUJA is a Tokyo-based artist and father of two. Through digital image-based works, he explores perception, identity, and unseen layers of reality beyond ordinary perception. His practice includes the Rain Painting, Braille, Mosaic, and Dicephalus series, all of which investigate a shared interest in visibility and invisibility, recognition and information, and the ways meaning is constructed. Living with schizophrenia, his artistic practice reflects an ongoing exploration of how we perceive and understand the world around us. All proceeds from his artwork sales are donated to charitable causes.
